Lovely photos and info. Gerald. Cousin John Andrew has told me about your side of the family. I have seen some on facebook too. Welcome new cousin. As you have heard i am trying to compile a big family tree of all the Hummerstones of the world and any spelling variants. My family moved To Devon and Cornwall after the 2nd World War from London, The main nucleous of our family roots, as they have been in that area for about 1,000 yrs. But originated up north of England in Great Grimsby, and before were probably from Saxony in West Germany. Wo uld love top hear from any of you, and need to compile all of your family tree from 1888. I have alot from this side now. From 1750 ad. in London, then a gap before going back several hundred years in Hertfordshir e etc...
